One man dead after early morning shooting in Norwalk

NORWALK – The Norwalk Sheriff's Station is investigating after a man was shot and killed in Norwalk early Wednesday morning.

The shooting was reported at 3:45 a.m. in the 16500 block of Horst Avenue, according to Deputy Caroline Rodriguez of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.

The man died at the scene, Rodriguez said.  

Deputies have cordoned off the area between Parkside Avenue and the far west side of Horst Avenue as authorities investigate the homicide. 

No suspect information immediately available.
