City Council hosting community forum

NORWALK – The Norwalk City Council is inviting residents and business members to a community forum Thursday, Nov. 4, at 6 pm at the Norwalk Senior Center.

The forums, held on a quarterly basis, provide an opportunity for the public to engage with council members on a variety of issues.

Brief presentations on public safety, infrastructure and SB 1383 will be provided, followed by a question and answer session with City Council and city staff.

SB 1383 is an unfunded state mandate to reduce the amount of organic waste disposed of in landfills.

Translation services will be available for residents who speak Spanish.

Residents can also participate via Zoom. The dial-in number is 699-900-6833 and the meeting ID is 828-9884-0181.

Questions and comments can be submitted in advance to publiccomments@norwalkca.gov
