Man fatally shot on Rosecrans Avenue in Norwalk

NORWALK — A man was shot and killed on Rosecrans Avenue in a daytime shooting in Norwalk Monday afternoon.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 12500 block of Rosecrans Ave. at about 4:52 p.m. after receiving reports of a gunshot victim.

Deputies found the victim suffering from several gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity has not been released. He was described as a Hispanic adult.

No information on a suspect or motive was available. The shooter may have fled in a dark-colored sedan.
