What to expect at Norwalk's National Night Out festivities

Norwalk is hosting National Night Out this Wednesday on the City Hall lawn in conjunction with a summer concert performance by two-time Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas.

Norwalk's Department of Public Safety and Norwalk Sheriff’s Station are co-sponsoring the event.

“National Night Out” is an annual event intended to bring communities across America together to take a stand against crime, drugs and disorder in their neighborhoods. The two-time Grammy Award winning Mariachi Divas -- a multi-cultural, all female mariachi ensemble -- will perform.

Each August, millions of residents across the country come together to strengthen neighborhood spirit, support local crime prevention and build police-community partnerships to enhance safety and improve quality of life.
