Cerritos College accreditation reaffirmed by state commission

NORWALK – Cerritos College had its accreditation status fully reaffirmed by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). The commission accredits community colleges throughout California.

After the College’s midterm report and review, the ACCJC found the college to be in full compliance and its accreditation status was reaffirmed with no recommendations.

Cerritos College is reviewed every six years, including a mid-year report every three years. Accreditation is an external review process that ensures that education provided by an institution of higher education meets acceptable levels of quality determined by the commission.
